I’m Frank Brockmann, President and founder of Center Point Assessment Solutions, Inc.
I was a cubicle worker in the K-12 test publishing industry in the 1990s. I moved through the typical progression: writing and editing test questions, facilitating workshops, managing others who did the same.
Along the way I trained in other areas—information technology, personal finance, business administration. I got an MBA and a few technical certifications; I kicked the tires of software development and did some public speaking.
In 2004 I started Center Point with one goal: to solve unique problems in K-12 testing that others were unwilling to touch.
Since then, there’s been a lot of interesting work. Test publishers, researchers, universities, nonprofit organizations, state education agencies—all face their own unique situations. But I still do every project the same way, using a friendly but highly determined approach to solving problems.
Customers say our frank, straight-shooting approach is unique in the industry.
If your project is not our cup of tea, we’ll just say so.
And if we can’t do it well, we just won’t do it.
Isn’t that how things should be?
