Unfortunately, customized assessment-related services can’t be priced like office supplies. Center Point will always need information about your specific needs in order to price your project. But we’ll always let you know what’s driving our costs, too. Always.
Software & Support Services
Web Surveys / Online Data Collection
Custom data collection tools typically range from $1,000 – $10,000, depending on complexity, number of expected responses, processing needs, and other requirements. (Yes, that’s definitely a huge range—but no two projects are every exactly alike.) If your project needs custom database development, pricing will reflect those costs as well.
Pricing is negotiable. Typical charges are $4.35/card + up depending on design, complexity of source documents, and other factors. Center Point has developed proprietary item card generation tools over the years, including a template system that is 100% adaptable to customization. Ugly item cards should be a thing of the past!
Automation / Custom Processing
Each automation project is unique, which means pricing will always vary. You may be surprised at what we can do!
Secure File Transfer Sites
Methods for getting files from A to B in a painless manner is getting easier, and we’ve pretty much tried them all. Center Point can typically set a project up for $50/mo. + up, depending on security requirements, volume, number of users, and training needs. You can have everything done for you for a fee, or Center Point can just point the way to help you to do everything on your own. There are many free or low-cost options out there, and friendly recommendations come at no charge.
Project-based Team Websites
Restricted, members-only websites might range anywhere from $300 to $15,000. That’s a huge range. Why? Because even the most simple, elegant-looking group website can have massive back-end requirements. Pricing depends on number of users, training needs, duration of time required, custom apps needed, file storage need, and other requirements. Having said all that, however, smaller groups (most project teams and small businesses) are a Center Point specialty.
Websites / Hosting / Web Design
Costs depend on scope and countless other factors. The standard Center Point approach is to listen carefully and provide a healthy list of options. The goal for Center Point is always the same—to be as helpful as possible, even if it means directing your elsewhere.
Video / Audio Production, Tutorials, Training
It is not possible to put a “menu” price on this. Charges are based on complexity, length, content, level of production required (screencasts, the need for voice-overs, music, graphics, et cetera). Contact Center Point and tell us about your project.
Workshop Development / Powerpoint Design
Pricing varies by project. We take PowerPoint and presentation design pretty seriously around here. Slide decks can be hourly or flat-fee projects; contact Center Point and describe the results you’re looking for. Let’s be honest—most presentations in use today are rather ordinary, so Center Point is on a mission to prove all presentations are NOT created equal!
Writing & Research
Market rates typically apply; contact Center Point to describe your project. If the subject matter fits our roadmap or the areas we’re interested in, ask about a discount.
Sometimes it’s hard to know in advance which services a project might need. Contact Center Point for options. Just talking it over with with someone who listens can help. You’ll learn what drives any costs for Center Point’s pricing—even if it means helping you to get services from someone else.
Rates for hourly consulting projects (those which require time, not necessarily a specific product or service) vary greatly—typically from $50 – $150/hr—and these rates depend on:
- the length and dates of engagement
- the type of work to be performed
- the level of technical expertise required to do the work
Frankly speaking, hourly consulting has become more common in recent years. It is difficult to say exactly why this trend is occurring. At one time, nearly all Center Point pricing requests were fixed-fee or project-based. As projects become more complex, however, it can be hard to nail down every last scope detail; hourly contracts are a way to ensure that any details that arise in the course of a project are covered.
