Frank Brockmann
Technologist & Researcher
I've been building custom systems for high-stakes decisions in educational assessment, nonprofit, and culturally-responsive contexts since 2004. My work now centers on human-AI collaboration: systems where cultural and community experts hold the authority and AI amplifies what they know.
Center Point has worked with state agencies, publishers, professional researchers, and nonprofits for two decades. We take on projects that require both technical skill and thoughtful design, particularly where existing solutions don't fit.
If your project isn't our cup of tea, we'll just say so.
And if we can't do it well, we just won't do it.
The Work
We build infrastructure for communities where the stakes are high: assessment programs, nonprofits, culturally-responsive contexts. The experts in these communities hold knowledge that can't be automated. Our job is to amplify what they know, not replace what they can do.
Today I'm focused on what happens when AI enters these spaces. Chatbots are fine for going down rabbit holes, but I'm more interested in AI that keeps communities connected and helps them amplify what they know.
The Practice
Custom databases. Reporting infrastructure. Salesforce architecture. Content workflows. AI integration and policy. Whatever the situation requires.
Most of our work has been in educational assessment and nonprofit operations, but the pattern is the same: build what doesn't exist for organizations that can't afford to get it wrong.
When a project needs actual code.
Not configuration, not consulting—custom software. Applications for research and nonprofit contexts that are badly needed but don't exist yet.
